The Kentucky Association for Early Childhood Education serves and supports early care and education professionals on behalf of young children and their families.

The Kentucky Association for Early Childhood Education provides opportunities for professional development and networking with early care and education professionals across the Commonwealth.

KACEC Values Statement

Through our commitment to professional development and networking, KAECE values:

• Young children and their families,
• Early care and education professionals, and
• Initiatives and programs that promote healthy growth, development and education.

KAECE is open to all early childhood professionals who work with and care for young children and who provide education and resources for these individuals. 

KAECE By-Laws (as amended Oct 2011)

At the August 2012 Board Meeting, Terry Green made the following motion:

"I proposed the following bylaw change:

'In the event the President cannot fulfill his/her remaining term and there is no President-Elect or Past President, the Executive Committee will appoint an interim President until an election is held.'”

Nancy Roberts second.  Motion carried.
