Vicke Bowman is a wife, mother, grandmother, trainer and teacher.  Her passion is Early Childhood Education and she has been an ECE professional for 39 years.  She has been a preschool teacher, child care director, trainer, and assistant professor.  Currently Vicke is teaching at Sullivan University in Louisville as an Associate Professor in the Early Childhood Education Department.  She has been married for 36 years to a wonderful man and is the mother of one son and grandmother to an adorable two-year-old granddaughter.  Her expertise and experience have earned her an appointment as a Master Trainer for the state of Kentucky working with TIPP and training credentialed trainers throughout Kentucky.  She continues to train Early Childhood professionals as a contract trainer.  Vicke recently earned a Masters Degree in Education and continues to study to become a better early childhood professional and mentor.
Vicke is the new Vice President for Membership on the KAECE board.  She hopes to use her talents to increase membership in KAECE and to actively participate with the board to benefit the children and families of Kentucky.  In addition, Vicke is working with a group to revitalize the Louisville affiliate (LAECE).
